Use these face pieces to play the 福笑い(ふくわらい - fuku warai)game on the 1-7 lesson (page 27) or any time you want to teach about body parts or directions (up, down, left, right or go).

Besides printing and laminating these pages, you should bring a (clean) bandana or an アイマスク(Eye Mask) from a drugstore to blind fold the students.0) Draw an outline of a balding head on the board, void of facial features. save for sporadic hairs on top of the head.
1) Divide the students into teams, such as by rows (usually there are eight rows per a full class).
2) Then have each team come one at a time to the board and blindfold the elected leader.
3) Give the leader one piece of the face to try to affix to the board:
there are 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 mouth, 1 nose, 1 toupee and 1 nose.
4) You can either affix magnets to the backs of the pieces (which you should laminate) or use a magnet to affix the piece to the board when the student has the piece on the board.
5) Give each team 2 points for a well placed piece, 1 point for a piece that is a little off, and 0 points if the piece is outside of the face outline that you have drawn.
